Zambia Police officers this morning picked up, Makokwa Kozi the News Manager at Prime Television for questioning together with his Boss Mr. Gerald Shawa.
This is in relation to a news item that was aired on the TV Station on Monday this week from the UPND media briefing held at Mr. Hakainde Hichilema’s residence.
After hours of interrogation, the duo was warned and cautioned for the offence of communication of information contrary to the state security act.
The said document was only supposed to be seen by Station Lawyer as Police were requesting for footage of the press briefing that was held by the opposition United Party for National Development.
Meanwhile 295 people in Lusaka West have been apprehended for criminal trespass on land belonging to Mr. Jack Kalala and Mr. Charles chingambu.
Mrs. Katongo has told 5fm radio that of those arrested 67 are female and 228 are male and are currently detained in police custody and will appear in Court soon.
