A Zambia Railways Goods Train has collided with a Ministry Of Health Ambulance at Nkana West Traffic Lights In Kitwe, on the Copperbelt province this morning.

Information gathered by 5fm Radio Suggest that the Ambulance was the first to reach a railway crossing point but the brakes of the Goods Train failed to work accordingly thereby ramming into the Ambulance.

The Ambulance was taking a patient from Roan Hospital in Luanshya to Kitwe General.

By Broadcast Time Provincial Police Commissioner Mrs. Charity Katanga had not received details of the accident but 5fm radio understands that there were no serious injury but a patient and one Nurse got minor injuries.
