Zambia will host the rugby south tournament which will run from 23rd to 29th of April, 2017.

Six countries divided into two groups will take part in the tournament.

The northern group includes Nigeria, Algeria and Cameroon, while the southern group has Zambia, Rwanda and Mauritius.

The first match will feature Mauritius versus Zambia to be played on the 23rd, the second game between Mauritius and Rwanda will be played on the 26th.

And the final game between Zambia and Rwanda will be played on the 29th of April, 2017.

General Secretary of Zambia rugby union Mr. Francis Chitambo said this at a media launch of Africa rugby group at Lusaka rugby club this morning.

The total budget of the event is 52,500 United States dollars, so far 44,000 United States dollars has been raised so far according to .Mr. Chitambo.
