Zambia was voted the ‘Best Stand for Doing Business’ at the 2017 World Travel Market Africa in South Africa.

World Travel Market Africa is one of the leading travel and tourism trade shows in Africa which takes place annually in Cape Town.

Press Secretary at High Commission of Zambia in south Africa Mr. NICKY SHABOLYO said that the Zambian stand comprised 14 companies drawn from different parts of country under the zambia tourism agency umbrella.

the award was presented yesterday by event organisers, World travel market Africa to Zambian delegation Leader, MR. MWABASHIKE NKULUKUSA, who is also Zambia Tourism Agency Marketing Director.

Around 5000 travel and tourism professionals, alongside 550 exhibitors, have attended this year’s leading global business-to-business expo that has been showcasing the inbound and outbound travel markets from over 45 countries.

Others in the delegation were First Secretary in charge of tourism at the Zambian High Commission in Pretoria, Mrs. PATRICIA MUYAMWA, Ms. JANE ZINDONGA from the Livingstone ZTA office and Mr. MUZHINGA MUNENGU from ZTA head office in Lusaka.

Stakeholders in the South African tourism industry are invited to meet travel operators from around the world in order to create business relationships, launch products, enter new markets, promote brands, conduct market research, showcase destinations and interact with media professionals.

The Zambian companies that are participating in the exposition are All Seasons Travel and Tours, Kayube Estates/Wild Side Tours, Konkamoyo Lodge, Legacy Destination Zambia, Luciano Tours and Travel – Zambia, Mawimbi Bush Camp/Sikiliza and Mulungushi International Conference Centre.

Others were Orion Car Rental and Travel Solutions; Pioneer Lodge, Camp and Safaris; Protea Hotels Zambia; Shenton Safaris; Sigo Adventures and Tours; Voyagers – Travel Partner in Zambia; Winning Travel and Tours, and Zigzag Town Lodge and Restaurant.
