Majority Citizens and Civil Society Organizations who participated in the consultation on whether or not Zambia should remain within the International Criminal Court, submitted that Zambia should not leave the globally institution.
This is according to information gathered by 5FM RADIO.
About Twenty Civil Society Organizations assembled at the Government Complex to validate the submissions collected from 30 districts of the ten provinces.
There were 3, 489 submissions received across out of which a total of 3,379 were from individual citizens and 112 where from institutions including Civil Society Organizations.
Results obtained indicate that 91.43 percent of submitters rejected the motion to Zambia to withdrawal the International Criminal Court while 8.57 percent supported the idea to leave.
The government of Zambia will officially announce the outcome next month.
