President Edgar Lungu has stated that it is his Government’s agenda to prioritise infrastructure development as evidenced by the unprecedented construction of Roads, Schools, Universities, Clinics and Airports which are turning the Country into a Landlinked Country and Regional Transport and Transit Hub.


Speaking when he Flagged off the Commencement of the Upgrading of the Kawambwa/Mushota Road Project from Gravel to Turmac in Kawambwa this Morning, the Head of State said he was Happy to Finally Fulfill his Government’s promise to Upgrade the Road which had been a topic of Discussion for some time now.


And the President stated that he was happy that the Kawambwa-Mporokoso Road which would be Constructed at a Cost of 142.2 Million UNITED States Dollars was underway.


He stated that once the Project was completed, it would help boost Tourism and Agriculture activities in both Luapula and Northern Province.
