Zambia finished fourth at the just-ended Africa Rugby Sevens Tournament that was held at the Legends Rugby Club in Kampala, Uganda.

Uganda prevented Zambia from setting foot in the finals via a 38-12 score line while Zimbabwe was too good for islanders Madagascar defeating them by 21-12.

In the finals Uganda beat Zimbabwe 10-7 to claim the Africa rugby sevens championship. Both sides have qualified to the world rugby sevens and world rugby sevens series.

The winner also earns an invitation to the Dubai sevens and Cape Town sevens.

Meanwhile Zambia has qualified to the Commonwealth games.

The Event Had Attracted Uganda, Kenya, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Madagascar, Senegal, Morocco, Mauritius And Zambia.
