National Aids Council (NAC), Acting Director General, Mr. Fortune Chibamba, says the 46,000 Hiv New Infections that Occur Every Year is Unacceptable.

 

Mr Chibamba has since urged the Media to be Champions of Hiv Prevention in the Country.

 

He was Speaking during the Aids Healthcare Foundation/National Aids Council Media Awards, which saw 5fm Radio Staffer Patrick Soko scooping the First Prize in the Radio Category, while 5fm Radio Station also was also Awarded as the Best Radio Station in Zambia in the Dissemination of Hiv Information. 

 

And Aids Healthcare Foundation, Africa Bureau Chief, Dr Penninnah Iutung, says Funding remains Critical to the Fight against Hiv.

 

And 5fm Radio Journalist, Patrick Soko said Journalists should not focus on Covering Media Briefings if they are to Win Media Awards.
