Hivos Southern Africa Regional Advocacy Manager, Sustainable Foods, William Chilufya, has observed that the Food that most Zambians are Eating Today is not giving them the desired Health Outcome.


Mr Chilufya has noted that the Food being Consumed by Citizens is Producing Malnutrition, Stanting, Overweight and Obesity.


He said that the Food is Increasing the Chances of Non Communicable Diseases such as Diabetes and High Blood Pressure.


He was Speaking During the Awards Ceremony in Lusaka Last Night (FRIDAY).


Officiating at the Event, Community Development Minister, Emerine Kabanshi, said that Investing in Nutrition is Cardinal to Achieve All the Seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS).


Among the Recipients of the Awards were 5FM Radio News Editor, Evans Sinjela, Hot FM Managing News Editor, Richard Phiri, Favourite Kalando from QTV and Sara Mwanza from the Times Of Zambia.
