Speaking on behalf of other Organizations; Action Aid Country Director; Nalucha Ziba; is Disappointed that some Politicians Continue to Harvest the Tree at the Expense of the Nation.

 

She has Wondered how Authorities in Beit Bridge Border Post between South Africa and Zimbabwe were able to Intercept 22 Tracks Carrying Mukula Logs Worth 6.6 Million Kwacha Without Being Detected by the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA).

 

She has Demanded that Government Informs the Nation When the Auction Sale for the Recently Seized Mukula Logs was Held.

 

Other Organizations Present at the Media Briefing include, the Consumer Unity Trust Society International, and the Civil Society For Poverty Reduction and the Centre For Trade Policy and Development.
