Minister of Transport and Communications, Engineer Brian Mushimba says the Ministry was not Fully Consulted on the 17 Years Concession Agreement between the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) and Intelligence Mobilia System.

According to Mr Mushimba, Government has since Commenced the Re-Negotiations of the 17 Years Concession Agreement between the Two Parties especially on the Part of Revenue Collection and other Errors in the Document.

He said the Decision was made after a Thorough Study of the Agreement by the Ministry and the Counterparts at the Ministry of Finance who looked at Ways of how RTSA can continue to Earn Revenue and Contribute to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

He said this when he Appeared before the Parliamentary Committee on the Budget Today (MONDAY) and was Asked to Produce the Document before the Members on the Agreement between the Two Parties.
