Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce Trade and Industry; Kayula Siame has told 5FM Radio that there is a lot of support from Stakeholders for Zambia to Sign the African Continental Free Trade Area.

 

Recently Several African Countries Signed up to a Historic Trade Agreement Aimed at Paving the Way for a Liberalized Market for Goods and Services Across the Continent.

 

The African Continental Free Trade Area is an Agreement Cast in the Mold of the European Union’s Version and was Signed during the 10th Ordinary Session of African Union Heads of State Summit held in the Rwandan Capital, Kigali.

 

And Siame Explained that Consultations are ongoing; adding that they will be Concluded before the End of this Year as Zambia continues to Build Productive Capacities.
