The Lusaka City Council has summoned seven people for causing noise pollution in the central business district.
The Seven were summoned to appear in the Fast Track Court for noise pollution and noise nuisance contrary to statutory instrument number 12 of 2018 of the local government act.
In a statement issued to 5fm news, Lusaka City Council Assistant public relations manager Brenda Katongola Says The Suspects Were found playing loud music and removing loudspeakers along Freedom Way, Katondo and Nkwazi Streets in the central business district during an inspection.
Meanwhile, Katongola says the Council will start penalizing residents who do not have occupational of Health Permits after completion of their buildings to certify the building fit for habitation.
