Green Party President Peter Sinkamba has noted the need to input in place a legislation that will prevent the Country from holding By-Elections even in an event death occurs in view of saving resources.
This week on Thursday, the electoral commission of Zambia will conduct Parliamentary By-Elections in Kasenengwa.
The Kasenengwa parliamentary sit became vacant after the death of patriotic front Member of Parliament Victoria Kalmia in June.
Another By-Election will be held soon following the demise of united party for national development Mangango constituency Member of Parliament Naluwa Mweene.
And Mr. Sikamba Has proposed that in view of serving cost associated with holding of By-Elections, the serving Political Party should be nominating a replacement to the incumbent.
