The Integrated Community Anti-Litter Initiate has expressed concern with the low adherence levels towards the statutory instrument (SI) which compels all Zambians to participate in cleaning activities every last Saturday of the month.

Initiative Chairperson Pascal Chikumbi is concerned that some members of the community are not participating in the make Zambia clean, green and healthy campaign

Chikumbi has since proposed that councillors should be engaged in order to enhance the participation of citizens in general cleaning because they are in direct contact with the people.

In an interview with 5fm news, Chikumbi has further urged Zambians to always uphold cleanliness and not to wait for the last Saturday of every month.
