Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo says the call by President Edgar Lungu on Ministers to increase their efficiency is timely because they have the duty to deliver development to the Zambians in line with the patriotic front manifesto.
Speaking when he addressed journalists at his office, Lusambo observes that President Lungu has the mandate to administer the affairs of the country adding that Ministers and Civil Servants must support his agenda of delivering development.
He says he has taken the call by the Head of State serious, further imploring civil servants in the province to ensure they deliver services to the expectation of the people.
“My advice goes to my people in Lusaka Province to make sure that we pull up our socks, let us make Lusaka a shining example to other provinces’ “Lusambo said.
Meanwhile, Lusambo has assured that the Provincial Administration will work with all concerned stakeholders including street vendors in a bid to bring sanity to the city.
