FARMERS IN WESTERN PROVINCE RESPOND TO PROTECT LIVESTOCK

Livestock Farmers in western province’s Mongu central have enhanced animal disease control practices through interventions such as the utilization of the concept called “Zero grazing strategy”. 

 

The Zero grazing strategy is a practice of confining cattle and other livestock in one locality.

 

United party for national development Mongu central Member of Parliament Mwilola Imakando says the practice is currently being piloted in about four areas of the Western province which includes Kalabo will help improve the livestock sector.
