The Finnish government has revealed that it will in the next three and a half years inject 9 million Euros into the Accelerated Growth for Zambia’s Small and Medium Enterprises program.
Finnish Ambassador to Zambia and Special Representative to Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Suomela Chowdhury is Happy that Finland and Zambia have had a very strong development partnership in the last 45 years and will continue to build on the positive gains.
Speaking when she presented her credentials to COMESA Secretary General Chileshe Kapwepwe, the Finnish Ambassador said while trade between Finland and Africa has continued to grow, more still needs to be done.
Speaking later COMESA secretary general Chileshe Kapwepwe expressed hope that the ambassador Chowdhury will continue supporting COMESA in the areas of Science Technology and Innovation.
