The Cotton Board of Zambia has called on the government to invest in establishing textile industries in the country.
Senior Inspector Nyambe Kwalombota believes that this is key in promoting value addition in the cotton sector.
Zambia currently exports 99 percent of its cotton production and only 1 percent is left within the country.
Kwalombota tells 5fm In an Interview that there is need for the government to take up initiatives of attracting foreign investors in order to boost the cotton sector.
