The Petroleum Transporters Association of Zambia has commended the government for giving them the mandate to transport the over 30 million litres of diesel and petrol sourced from Saudi Arabia.
Petroleum Transporters Association of Zambia Secretary General Benson Tembo tells 5fm news that the gesture shows Government’s resolute to enhance growth and job creation in the fuel transport subsector.
“We have continued to enhance growth and job creation in the fuel transport sub-sector. We have seen unprecedented and support amongst local transporters. It is in this regard that PTAZ feels honoured to be tasked to evacuate over 30 million litres of fuel sourced from Saudi Arabia,” Tembo explained.
Tembo has assured that they will remain professional and focused in their duties further expressing confidence that the government will continue supporting the association.
