The Ministry of Transport and Communication has told 5fm news that they are on course in rectifying network problems that were experienced during the implementation of the electronic voucher last year.

40 per cent of over one million farmers were reverted to the traditional farmer’s input supply program due to several challenges including poor network coverage in some districts.

Minister of Transport and Communication Brian Mushimba is confident that measures such the installation of 1001 towers across the country through state-owned telecommunication company Zamtel will complement the administration of the e-voucher system.
