The Supreme Court judgement on Comrade Derrick Sinjela, Rainbow Newspaper owner has been adjourned to 20th December 2018.
This is a matter in which Sinjela is cited for contempt of court in the Savenda versus Stanbic Bank case.
Adjourning the case, Deputy Chief Justice Marvin Mwanamwambwa said the judgment has been delayed because some judges on the 9 member panel who were present during mitigation were not in court to approve the judgment.
Sinjela had pleaded guilty when the matter came for mention a couple of months ago.
Both print and electronic media personnel were present in court to offer solidarity to the Rainbow Newspaper owner.
Sinjela was in high spirit as he waited for his sentencing.
