President Edgar Lungu has dismissed Felix Mutati as Minister of Works and Supply and he has replaced him with Lunte Member of Parliament Mutotwe Kafwaya.
The Head of State says there is no need for speculation on the revocation of Mr. Mutati’s appointment because he has the discretion to fire and hire.
President Lungu encouraged Mr. Kafwaya to work hard and prove himself.
And Mr. Kafwaya said that focus will be to ensure that ballot papers are printed locally as he takes up his new mandate.
Speaking after being sworn in at State House today, Mr. Kafwaya told journalists that he will further focus on continuous assessment of existing government infrastructure.
