The Patriotic Front (PF) in Lusaka Province has suspended and recommended for the expulsion of Julius Komaki and outspoken Lusaka Lawyer Kelvin Bwalya Fube from the party by the central committee.
This is in the matter in which Komaki gave a 24 hour’s ultimatum for The Party Secretary-General Davies Mwila to vacant the office while KBF demanded that President Lungu hands over power to him.
Speaking during a media briefing, PF Lusaka Province Interim Chairperson Paul Moonga said Komaki and KBF were summoned to appear before the party’s provincial disciplinary committee but failed to do so.
Moonga revealed that the provincial executive committee was petitioned by seven districts of Lusaka comprising 12 constituencies that the two had gone beyond what there were expected to do as a member, hence the recommendation for their expulsion.
And PF Secretary General Davies Mwila who received the petition assured that it will be handed over to the central committee for further deliberation.
