Mahogany Airline, will this year inject 10 million United States dollars to expand business operations.
Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka this morning mahogany airline chief executive officer Jim Belemu says the projected investment is due to some new routes the airline is opening.
Belemu says the new routes which will be opened this year include one in Kasama and Solwezi districts and one international route to Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He further disclosed that this year they are expected to record an increase in the number of passengers using the airline from about 30,000 recorded in 2018 to about 60,000 passengers.
Meanwhile, Belemu expressed concern with what he terms as irresponsible behaviour from some services providers which he says is affecting the growth of the aviation sector.
