MORE REFUGEES ENTER ZAMBIA

 

The Zambia Red Cross Society has recorded 3,400 Asylum Seekers at Kenan Refugee Camp in Nchelenge District of Luapula Province, the Majority of whom are Women and Children, While over 100 are Unaccompanied Minors and Seperated Children from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

 

Society Communications and Public Relations Manager Mr. Bruce Mulenga says indications are that more Asylum Seekers are expected to Arrive in the Next few Days.

 

Mr Mulenga was Speaking in an Interview with 5fm Radio this Afternoon (TUESDAY).
