National Aids Council Communications Manager Justin Mwiinga regrets that limited access to quality antenatal care services in rural areas is contributing to new cases of children being born with HIV.

Mwiinga acknowledges that measures aimed at preventing mother to child transmissions in rural areas need to be scaled up.

Mwiinga adds that reaching the 100 percent target of protecting all children from the HIV virus pandemic calls for everyone’s effort.
