The National Road Fund Agency (NRFA) has indicated that it has made headways in backing up road tolling system, data with the Zambia national data centre in a bid to prevent any loss of critical information.

Earlier this year, the agency stated that it experienced a technical challenge in which 11,348 vehicle transactions were found to be misallocated as frequent user discounts consequently leading to the loss of K 1 million.

NRFA public relations manager Alphonsius Hamachila has told 5fm news that the keeping of data is critical when addressing issues that may arise from technical challenges.
