Patrick Soko holds the record of being the most awarded Journalist in the history of 5FM Radio Zambia, and it is also true that he among the few Zambian Radio Journalists with a lot of accolades in a period of six (6) years.
He has demonstrated high levels of commitment and dedication in the field of Journalism in Zambia.
He helped to propel #5fm Radio to become the most inclusive reliable source for News, upholding the legacy of objectivity and nonbias News coverage inherited from past 5fm employees, and after the hard work, and he was rewarded with a promotion to become the News Editor in 2018.
As a young radio Journalist, he established a good reputation converting from being a cab reporter into a multiple award-winning Journalist, ripping 19 #Awards on various sectors.

During his tenure as News Editor at 5fm Radio while working with Christopher Chisi Mwenya Mofya, Golden Yalenga (interns Mathews Malazika and Valentina Daka), he implemented the electronic system of compiling and reading News.
He helped improve 5fm’s Facebook page. and during his tenure, the page grew 7000 likes to over 20,000 likes and following.
He supervised and united the Newsroom and through his leadership Journalists like Christopher Chisi and Mwenya Mofya brought honors to 5FM, the most reputable Adult contemporary Radio station in Zambia.
