Persons with Cross-Cutting Disabilities have flocked to the Ministry Of Community Development and Social Services demanding support from authorities’ complaining that life has become very hard for them as they have fewer means to help themselves.
A Check by 5fm News found members of the National Pressure Group for Persons with Disabilities who have been promised money for upkeeps by Government making frantic efforts to seek an audience with the Ministry Officials.
Those interviewed by 5fm news expressed displeasure that, under the current economic conditions they are struggling to meet basic needs hence they are need of support from Government.
Others noted the need for authorities to find sustainable ways of helping the underprivileged in society.
Efforts to get a comment from authorities at the Ministry of community development and social services proved futile by broadcast time.
