The Professional Insurance Cooperation Limited has observed that the huge investment Government is putting up in the Aviation Sector requires an overseas travel Insurance Policy in order to help in mitigating some of the risks associated with air travels.
Some of the investments Government has made in the aviation sector include the ongoing upgrading of the Harry Mwanga Nkumbula Airport in Livingstone and Kenneth Kaunda International Airport which will see its capacity increased to 4 million passengers.
The construction of the new Copperbelt i1nternational Airport in Ndola is another investment which will see an increase in the annual passengers’ capacity to 2 million.
Professional insurance cooperation Managing Director Moses Siame says they are committed to support growth in the aviation sector.
Mr. Siame said this during the launch of the overseas travel insurance policy in lusaka on Thursday.
And speaking when he officiated ,the launch of the overseas travel insurance policy Mahogany Airline ,Chief Excutive officer Dr. Jim Belemu underscored the importance of the new insurance scheme
