United States Ambassador to Zambia Daniel Foote says it is important for relevant stakeholders to take part in the National Dialogue Process as it is an opportunity for them to make their submissions on constitutional and electoral reforms.

Speaking in an interview with 5fm News, Ambassador Foote says the Dialogue Process will facilitate transparency in the running of economic affairs as civil society organizations and opposition political parties will suggest on how government must operate.

The Dialogue Process which commences on the 23rd of April 2019 was set after President Edgar Lungu on 9th April signed into law a bill that sets into motion national dialogue led by his government despite opposition from stakeholders.
