The Anti Voter Apathy Project-AVAP has advised Ruling Patriotic Front Secretary General to Davies Mwila to desist from issuing threatening remarks to party Members in the areas where by-elections are due to be held that they risk being fired if the party fails to win the elections.

Davies Mwila reportedly sounded a warning to Kafue Constituency and District party leadership that they risk being dissolved if they fail to win the forthcoming council chairperson elections.

But AVAP Executive Director Richwell Mulwani feels the warning has the potential to incite party members to cause anarchy and also perpetrate violence.

Mulwani is appalled with remarks saying the warning by the PF Secretary General is against party constitution.

Meanwhile, Mulwani has appealed to the PF to lead by example as a party in power and ensure they uphold the electoral code of conduct in much as they want to win the polls.
