Government has noted with concern that the Trade War between the United States of America and China can have a negative impact on trade volumes on the goods Zambia exports to the two countries.
The United States has proposed higher taxes in Chinese imports in a bid to protect national security and intellectual property of the US business, a move which China has condemned.
The World Bank recently warned that the possibility of escalating restrictions involving major economies can endanger the global economy.
Speaking in an interview with 5fm news, Commerce Trade and Industry Minister Christopher Yaluma says there is urgent need to seek redress on the matter in order to facilitate trade in an amicable manner.
