UPND SPEAK OUT ON BLACK MOUNTAIN

 

United Party For National Development (UPND) Deputy Secretary General for Politics Mr. Patrick Mucheleka says it is unfortunate that no Effective Safety Measure was Implemented before Allowing the Small Scale Miners on the Copperbelt to have a Stake in the Running of the Black Mountain.

 

Mines Minister Richard Musukwa Proclaimed that the Small Scale Miners otherwise known as Jerabos and the Legal Owners of the Black Mountain, Alloys Smelting Limited will have to Work together.

 

However Tragedy Struck Yesterday (WEDNESDAY) when part of the Black Mountain Collapsed Burying Alive Over 10 People.

 

Mr Mucheleka further added that the Mayoral By-Elections Slated on July 26, might be Marred with Violence and has since Appealed to Law Enforcers to Scale Up Preventative Measures.
