The World Fish Zambia says it is targeting to train over in 1,000 fish farmers in Luapula, Lusaka and Northern Provinces under the aquaculture technical vocation and entrepreneurship project in a bid to improve their aquaculture skills.

Organization Communication Specialist Tabitha Mulilo says under the Aquaculture Technical Vocation and Entrepreneurship Project, world fish Zambia has partnered with NRDC, Musika and Blue Planet.

She has told 5fm news that the more than 3 years project is coming to end in 2021.

Meanwhile Mulilo says according to the research which the organization recently conducted, few women are in fish farming compared to men saying the organization is therefore calling on more women to venture in aquaculture.
